Buscot Park, Oxfordshire
This one-off timber framed four-bedroomed house was built in the American
‘Colonial’ style and finished to an extremely high standard. The bath stone floor laid to the impressive entrance hallway includes slate
gabochons leading to a sweeping timber staircase. Other features include
under-floor heating and a handmade kitchen.
The house was featured in the Sunday Telegraph, and Lord Faringdon was
quoted as saying: “It is lovely. A hint of Gone With The Wind, views of the
walled garden. And it smells like a pencil box.”
Client: Lord Faringdon
